>Aggghhh. Template changes: Work in Progress

April 30, 2010

>Ok, I like the look of the previous two templates much better. The only thing this has going for it is purple, but I don’t want people having to wait for ever to read the content, so I’ll be tweaking default templates until I get something I can live with and readers find loads fast enough. So, bear with the changes. Cuz, if ya’ll remember the last time, I tweak it and tweak it.
***Updated and tweaked thanks to Socrates’ help. Vote in the poll. Shall I leave it be?***

    >[geek]There is another way… Log in to Blogger Dashboard – scoll down till you find the Blogger in Draft option and enable it…Then when you reload the page, to get your new Blogger in Draft Dashboard – hit "Layout" and then you'll see an option for "Template Designer" (to the right of "Pick New Template") which will let you do all kinds of fancy things just like that software you bought… [/geek]

    >I like it, larger font, easier to read.

  3. April 30, 2010 3:44 pm

    >Socrates, awesome! :-)Clay, tried to keep the font large for you.

  4. April 30, 2010 5:18 pm

    >Perhaps slightly darker text to reduce the contrast further…It's looking good though.

    >I happened to click on "home" on the upper left corner, and it reverted back to the previous template, with the black background. Can't find out how to get it back to what I saw awhile ago.

    >Does someone have a huge pile of class papers to mark ;)I currently have housework keeping me tied to the computer…Clay, clear your browser cache.

  7. April 30, 2010 7:19 pm

    >Clear my browser cache? That sounds like you think I know how to do that. I'd like to, if I could.

  8. April 30, 2010 7:23 pm

    >First download the best browser in the known universe Chrome – then we can talk turkey. And blunts.

  9. April 30, 2010 7:28 pm

    >Sorry, no. I don't want to make a big change. I found a thing under "tools", that said "clear recent history", and I tried that. Didn't work. I dunno.Having a painful gas attack right now, it takes up a large percentage of my ability to function.

    >Clay, –this might help.If you're still seeing the home button, you shouldn't as I got rid of it almost immediately. You should be seeing dark purple background and lighter purple text. You could try restarting the computer?Socrates, papers (short ones, thankfully) coming in today, and long ones on Monday over Slaughterhouse-Five.

    >I like it…it looks pretty and soothing on the eyes..:) It loads really fast..

  12. May 1, 2010 9:14 am

    >This is even more purple than mulberry was … and loads much faster. Purple is the best, I love it.
